What is the range of tuition fees?

The tuition fees in private universities ranges between 2700 USD up to 12000 USD for the faculty of economics, administrative and social sciences, faculty of engineering, management, communication etc. And between 10,000 USD up to 20,000 USD for the medical related majors.
The fees differ regarding the major you choose.

What is the medium of instruction?

There are two main mediums of instructions in Turkish universities, they are Turkish and English.

Do you provide scholarship?

Yes, there will be a discount rate provided by Univ Base. It starts from 25% up to 75% for the faculty of economics, administrative and social sciences, faculty of engineering, management, communication etc. For medical related majors will be decided by the universi

The Turkish private universities do not require entrance exam to join.

5- Copy of language proficiency exam certificate (If applicable).

– For Graduate (Masters) (in PDF):

1- Bachelor’s Diploma (English or Turkish translation) (Mandatory).

3- Copy of passport. (Mandatory).

When does the Intake usually start at Turkish Universities?

The early registration at Turkish private universities starts in March and ends in September.

According to the decision of the Turkish Council of Higher Education dated 16/11/2015, Turkish Universities can only admit international students once a year. Therefore, there is only one intake which is Fall of each academic year.

*Fall semester: October – January.

*Spring semester: Feb – July.

Does Turkish private universities require English language or Turkish language proficiency tests?

Yes, they require a proficiency test for both languages based on the medium of instruction you will select for your program.

– Required tests for (English medium): (TOFLE IBT or PTE) are acceptable for students who are willing to study in English language.

*TOFLE IBT (provided that it must not exceed 2 years since the exam).

– Required international test for (Turkish medium): TÖMER Certificate which is awarded by Universities (B2)

Note: In case the student does not have an international proficiency test, an exam will be conducted for foreign language (English) at the university.

Does Turkish private universities require (SAT, YOS) exam certificates?

Basically, SAT – YOS or any other national or international examinations are optional for international students who are willing to apply for private universities since they can start the admission process with their diploma and transcripts. However, if the candidate has already taken one of the above-mentioned exams, he/she can provide an approved copy of the exam results.

What is SAT exam?

The SAT is an entrance exam used by most colleges and universities to make admissions decisions. The SAT is a multiple-choice, pencil-and-paper test created and administered by the College Board.

The purpose of the SAT is to measure a high school student’s readiness for college and provide colleges with one common data point that can be used to compare all applicants.

What is YOS exam?

YÖS – University Entrance Exam for International Students – is a test made for international students to study in Turkey, as the name suggests.   Some of State and Foundation Universities in Turkey are request YÖS scores of students for admission. These examinations can be made in Turkey and organized in various centers abroad by some of higher education institutions.

Universities that admit students with YÖS, announce quotas and YÖS exam results themselves.

What is GRE exam?

The GRE General Test is a graduate-level admissions exam used by many graduate school and business school programs. The GRE provides grad and b-schools with one common criterion that can be used to compare all applicants, who come from all over the world and will certainly have an enormous range in academic and professional experience.
